A lovely hotel but unfortunately the bad attitude of the owners spoiled our weekend. On the first night my friend ordered salmon mousse but it was so salty she could not eat it. I like salt but I could not eat it either. The owner/chef was very unfriendly when she explained the situation and was told there was no more salmon available. He said he could not understand how the fish was so salty!! He cooked it!! She had to have chicken or chicken. I ate my meal while she watched and she ate her meal whilst I watched. If there had been an apology right away that would have helped but we were made to feel very uncomfortable. This is not acceptable at all. After all we were the guests. We paid our bill in full and I would have thought that they would have reduced it slightly as a lovely act.
