Sister hotel to The Fairhaven - we were moved to a room in The Central after we requested a move from our room in The Fairhaven. The Cenral was marginally better......just. First complaint - our room on the 2nd floor had no fire escape and only one way in/out. Second complaint - although the hotel is ideally placed for the beach it is unfortunately also located right in the centre of Weymouth's nightlife and on Fri/Sat/Sunday we had endless shouting, fighting, puking until 5am each night in the streets right outside our bedroom window. This is obviously not the fault of the hotel, but equally it's not something they make you aware of when you book a family room. Final complaint - the included breakfasts were so bad we went to the local cafe instead.

I have just returned from Turkey 'Tinsel at the Central with a party of people with learning disabilities. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly - we could not have asked for better. The food was excellent and the entertainment great. Yes, the noise from rowdy people outside was a bit much but it didn't last very long. Our only criticism was that there wasn't a quiet lounge for people who didn't want to be in the bar. We certainly hope to return!
