the staff were very pleasant, the food good and location not bad. The only downside was the entertainment, it catered for the over 70's only with a 90 year old man playing his organ very badly. The quiet room was similiar to a nursing home where I work.

The food was sub par. The company was ancient, and the management was completely in disregard for quality of services. If I could rate this hotel all zeros, I would.

Just came back from the Devonshire Hotel last week. Food excellent, 4 courses was an unexpected surprise, could hardly eat it all! Entertainment was good, Chris on our last night was the funniest bloke I've ever seen.

We have just come home from a four night stay at Devonshire Hotel in Torquay, this is one of the best value for money hotels we have ever stayed in, very nice room, staff,food,gardens and entertainment were very good, the hotel was clean and tidy. We would recommend it to anyone, 130 guests in at the time of our stay and they all seemed very happy.

have been to devonshire hotel on many occasions. staff and managent always polite, food good value. chris chaplain, on entertainment a must see, cant wait to go again.
