Surprise break from husband.In carpark wondering what to do,was approached by young man[later discovered was manager] who took our case and bag,said to follow,apologised for delay [but we were early] gave us tea,coffee & biscuits, in short time, taken to very nice room & told what time dinner was.Menue had good variety to choose from, no long wait`s for food [spotless dinning room].The hotel staff from cleaner to manager were helpfull and polite. The entertainment was very good as well.We will definatly be going back and would recomened The Queens Hotel in Paignton.it wasnt buckingham palace ,we were looking for good food,good acomodation and good company and that`s what we got. Our room was big enough for us,after all it`s only for sleeping in isn`t it.
