I stayed in this hotel around the 11th of April 2006. The welcome was a nice un-expected one we got a glass of whisky however I felt that the room we stayed in could have been slightly better maintained. The mattress was a little uncomfortable and I noticed the duvet had a cigarette burn in it! This is not the same as Hilton hotels and im pretty sure the hotel staff knew about the burn but just didn’t do anything about it.
I didn’t eat in at the Grosvenor as there were many restaurants located around Byres Road most of them were a lot cheaper as well!
