a dated hotel which needs a lot of money spending on it to bring it into 21st centuary,tatty and scruffy dirty chairs in lounge(dirty on chair backs from peoples heads)bedrooms like rabbit hutches no mod cons at all no phone or hairdryers kettle supplied but needed de scaling no coffee supplied toilet rolls rationed had to ask for them on 2 occasions, towels not changed carpets were thread bare on stairs wall paper hanging off even electric wires on show no hot water for several days lift out of order for 3 days old people had to struggle up stairs to their rooms;food ok but limited choice in breakfast cereals;only allowed one item to start breakfast juice or cereal never offered more toast or more tea/coffee;evening meal was not much better small amounts of food served ok if you have a small appitite but only given 2 small potatoes and small amount of veg each meal once again never asked if you would like more; waiting staff pleasant but management unhelpfuland not concerned about problems guests had ;would advice people not to go to this hotel;i went to this hotel on a coach holiday and had no choice but to stay if had walked in off street i would have walked straight back out!
