would not recommend. Bar was not open on whole stay. Place filthy and rooms do not get tidied up on a daily basis like one would expect. Breakfast is not available until 9.30. As for the welcome drink still have not seen it. Cereals for breakfast all out of date. Single beds are actually 2 ft 6 only suitable for a small child.Towels were not in rooms.

This is a warning to anybody booking hotel rooms in Blackpool. We were booked into the Northmount Hotel from the 10th - 14th Sept. Which we paid for in full using paypal and comfirmed the booking by phone, with a note of the dates, our address and phone
number on the paypal statement. When we arrived at the hotel at noon, we found it locked. We Tried all day to contact the hotel
owner, Mr ROBIN GOULD leaving messages on his phone asking him to phone my mobile and
went into an internet cafe to email him but after 7 hours parked outside his hotel with my family, knocking on the door we decided to book into the Maxime hotel 2 doors away. The Northmount Hotel was in darkness
apart from one light at the top. There were no notes on the door or windows
explaining what had happened. I Left a note in his letterbox which had
gone the following morning but still no contact made by Mr Gould. We
even went to the Police Station in Blackpool who put us in touch with
the Tourist information. We reported him to the tourist information who tried for almost an hour to contact
him but no reply. So filled in one of their complaint forms and they are
going to investigate and get in touch with trading standards. It totally ruined our 3 night break which was mostly spent outside the hotel waiting for Mr Gould to appear. Since then many people have contacted me saying thay have also booked and paid for holidays and the Northmount and his other hotel The San Diego and found them both locked and in darkness (Trading standards confirms that they are empty)but he is still decieving people by continuing to advertise rooms at both his hotels on ebay. No one has been able to contact him and he is giving blackpool and the good hotels like the Maxime (which we can highly recommend) a bad name. People should be made aware of his criminal deception? His hotels are advertised in his ebay shop called "Blackpool hotels" and his ebay id is "gould2888" The number of negitive feedbacks he has recieved from people he has conned in the past 10 days speaks for itself. Please warn all readers and visitors of Robin or should it be Robbing Goulds deception.
