My friend and I stayed at the Valron in May 2008. We cannot fault it. Gordon and Terry, the owners,really made us welcome. The food was good, as was the entertainment. We went with Gee-Vee travel in Chesterfield, Derbys.

I have stayed at the Valron many times with my wife, and gorden and terry was the best host there is i have told people about it and they have stayed there the food was first class and on a thursday night we had a singer and organ player called Sammy.
I would reconmend this hotel to all.

I've just returned from the Valron with my husband, daughter and niece and we would all thoroughly recomend it.We went with Gee Vee coaches, along with our driver Paddy, from Barnsley,which is our first coaching holiday, but won't be our last.The hosts, Terry and Gordon made us all feel welcome from the moment we arrived.The rooms were cosy and were cleaned every morning. The food was wonderful, with a choice for the evening meal.So yes we will definitly going to the Valron again.

i stayed at the valron last year and i cannot name one fault. terry and gordan are lovely and they have fantastic entertainment including live singers and competitions. the great thing about it is that it isn't for one age group, its for the whole family! the rooms are very cute and cosy, with a bathroom including a bath and a shower. the food is amazing and its also close to all the attractions, and for the elderly there is a tram stop just at the end of the road. they have great trips- including fleetwood and clevelys- go with geevee travel. you should go!
